We consult closely with landowners and develop and carry out detailed plans to achieve their goals. We perform select cut and clear-cut harvest depending upon the desires of the landowner. We also offer chipping of timbered areas depending upon the number of acres to be harvested. We offer reforestation of second generation loblolly pine seedlings and management plans. Falling Oak cannot price your timber over the phone. We must assess the timbered area to come up with a lump sum price based on the desired method of harvest. There is no charge to evaluate and price the timber. Also, there is no obligation to sell your timber. We pay in full at the execution of the timber contract. The contract is to be signed, notarized and the date of the signing starts the duration of time for us to harvest your timber. Most timber deeds have a 24-month duration of time.

With our trusted contract loggers, we expertly arrange the perfect team for all harvesting jobs. Our foresters manage the job throughout the entire process from beginning to end. Based on the timber type and number of acres our foresters can professionally evaluate and give an expert opinion for the best type of harvest that would meet the landowners desired needs and objectives. We put our landowners first. We can perform select cuts based on an agreed stump size and clear cut with chipping depending on the number of acres. Chipping leaves a clean logging job and also allows for more pine seedling per acre to be planted. We specialize in custom harvesting for commercial and residential land development.

As timber management experts, we are pleased to advise landowners about their timber resources. This part of the process is key. Here at Falling Oak Timber our foresters and loggers go above and beyond to make sure the timber harvest is complete by using strategic strategies and methods that most benefit the land owner. We use professional management skills to properly harvest the timber. Following the forestry guidelines to maintain perennial and annual creeks is a must. Bridge timbers to cross creeks and water bars are also used to keep from creating erosion problems on our client’s property. We treat the landowner’s property as if it were our own.
